Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies with globally connected customers.
  • Lead contract and price negotiations, information flow and daily decision making in all customer interactions.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the marketplace, i.e. competitor strategies, supply/demand balances, customer usage patterns, product pricing, raw material and production costs, end use market and pricing, growth patterns, market trends, etc. to make informed business decisions.
  • Meet product volume, revenue, and margin objectives as defined in annual program.
  • Develop and implement strategies to accomplish growth objectives in annual program.
  • To insure customer requirements are being met or exceeded, lead or directly interface with Accounting and Finance, Operations, Technical Services, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, Legal, SHE, Engineering, and IT.
  • Publish and update monthly sales forecasts.
  • Settle customer disputes in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of product stewardship initiatives for all chemical products.
  • Fulfill requirements set out in RC14001.
  • Represent the company in the highest ethical manner thereby earning the trust of others.
  • Develop and negotiate multi-year sales contracts and spot sales while working to improve product margins and identify efficiency improvements.
