Marketing and Sales Manager, Chemicals
Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement short and long-term sales strategies with globally connected customers.Lead contract and price negotiations, information flow and daily decision making in all customer interactions.Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the marketplace, i.e. competitor strategies, supply/demand balances, customer usage patterns, product pricing, raw material and production costs, end use market and pricing, growth patterns, market trends, etc. to make informed business decisions.Meet product volume, revenue, and margin objectives as defined in annual program.Develop and implement strategies to accomplish growth objectives in annual program.To insure customer requirements are being met or exceeded, lead or directly interface with Accounting and Finance, Operations, Technical Services, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, Legal, SHE, Engineering, and IT.Publish and update monthly sales forecasts.Settle customer disputes in a timely manner.Assist in the development and implementation of product stewardship initiatives for all chemical products.Fulfill requirements set out in RC14001.Represent the company in the highest ethical manner thereby earning the trust of others.Develop and negotiate multi-year sales contracts and spot sales while
working to improve product margins and identify efficiency improvements.
