Plans, coordinates, and supervises all activities related to the ordering, review, and delivery of all title efforts related to the Company’s acquisition and development needs. Manages multiple teams that support the Land Department’s title-related needs in all operational areas. Work closely with other sub-departments in order to learn and understand their operational needs while maintaining focus on goals and budget. Responsible for developing, distributing, supporting, enforcing, and integrating best practices across the Department. Familiar with a variety of the industry’s concepts, practices, and procedures as well as relevant legal issues. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, including the creation and maintenance of yearly and quarterly budgets. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.


  • Responsible for all aspects of managing the team including setting goals and objectives, managing performance, developing a strong vendor base, staffing, promotions and salary administration
  • Provide legal and practical expertise and recommendations in assessing risks related to acquisitions and development
  • Provide technical leadership, career development, and mentoring to team members
  • Lead improvement, standardization and automation of existing acquisition and development processes
  • Provide recommendations and identify opportunities where we can improve efficiency of business processes
  • Lead projects by planning, coordinating and directing title-related activities of the organization as well as providing administrative direction and support for daily operational activities
  • Work with peers to develop and maintain yearly and quarterly budgets
