Sabrina Saunders Mosby
President & Chief Executive Officer
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, the City of Bridges, Sabrina
Saunders Mosby has spent the better part of her career helping others cross
them. A seasoned executive, Ms. Mosby currently serves as President and Chief
Executive Officer for Vibrant Pittsburgh, a premier economic development
membership organization and the region's central resource, spokesperson, and
convener on workforce diversity and inclusion.
A cross-sector leader, Ms. Mosby
has held senior roles at numerous nonprofits and spent close to a decade in the
government sector while advocating for local constituents at the local and
federal levels. Ms. Mosby has a proven track record of partnering with business
and community leaders to develop strategic change and build local programs. Described
by stakeholders as highly creative, collaborative, visionary and results-oriented,
she is a sought after keynote speaker, facilitator, and workshop leader. Ms.
Mosby is a recipient of numerous awards and honors including being named an
Athena Young Professional Finalist, Ebony Magazine Top 30, Pittsburgh Courier
Fab 40, Pittsburgh Magazine 40 under 40, Whirl Magazine 50 Finest, and the Pittsburgh
Business Times' Power 100.
Ms. Mosby is an alumnus of Leadership Pittsburghs LDI XVII, holds a Master of
Science degree from Carlow University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

Lora McKnight (she/her)
COO and Vice President, Programs and Services
McKnight is responsible for operational strategy and programmatic development
at Vibrant Pittsburgh, driving change and advancing diversity, equity, and
inclusion in the Pittsburgh region. Lora has developed and facilitated a
variety of programs to accelerate the adoption of best practices in diversity,
equity, and inclusion, including the D&I Forum, Next Generation Council,
PGHNewcomerConnect, the Vibrant Index, and Vibrant Talent Consultants.
worked with The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Southwestern PA and
Chatham University. Lora received her Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree
from Illinois State University, and holds a MLIS degree from the University of
Assistant Vice President of Membership Development & External Relations
Gina joined Vibrant Pittsburgh with over 15 years of professional
executive management, entrepreneurship, business development and consulting for
nonprofit, corporate and community growth. As a strong advocate for tech
equity, inclusion and entrepreneurship, she was
named the first-ever Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Pittsburgh
Technology Council and served in a dual capacity as Director of Member
Engagement. In collaboration with the State of Pennsylvania, she works as a
coordinator for the Keystone Innovation Zone, a state tax credit program for
local startups. Gina believes the world should be better connected to all of
the resources Pittsburgh has to offer.
Gina currently volunteers her time as a founding member of the
Emerging Leaders Board for the Western PA Conservancy and the 412 Black Jewish
Collaboration. She recently joined Women in Tech
PGH as Vice-President and Carlow Universitys Advisory Council for the College
of Learning and Innovation. A native of the Pittsburgh region (McKeesport), she
holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Psychology from the University of
Pittsburgh and is a recent graduate of the EDGE Womens Leadership program.
Allegra B. Elson
Director of Training and Development
Allegra B. Elson is responsible for the strategy, design, management and administration of
Vibrant Pittsburghs diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) educational
Allegra joins Vibrant Pittsburgh with extensive
experience in teaching, facilitation, project management, and curriculum design
and implementation in both nonprofit and for-profit industries. She taught English as a
Foreign Language in China, Indonesia, Italy, and Turkey and Italian at the
University of Pittsburgh, Kent State University, and Duquesne University. As a
volunteer member of AmeriCorps, she served as an ESL and Adult Basic Education
Allegra is embedded in
the immigrant, refugee, and international communities through teaching and as a
member of the Immigrants & Internationals Advisory Council at the Allegheny
County Department of Human Services along with co-chairing its LGBTQ+
subcommittee. She also served on Mayor William Pedutos
Welcoming Pittsburgh Advisory Council.
A native Pittsburgher, Allegra has a Masters degree in
Italian Language and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh and a TESOL
Certificate from Teachers College, Columbia University. She was the recipient of the
Outstanding Teacher Award from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and was named one of Pittsburghs 40 under 40 by Pittsburgh Magazine.
Member Engagement Manager
Irving Torres is responsible for overseeing Vibrant Pittsburghs member retention strategy, data and processes related to member recruitment and retention, and managing the logistics of all member engagement events. He is excited to bring his non-profit leadership and capacity building as well as community partnership experience to his role.
For the past 7 years, Irving has been involved with spearheading a myriad of community-based programming initiatives throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. These initiatives include coordinating gender-based violence prevention programming through the University of Pittsburgh and directing Pittsburghs National Health Corps, an AmeriCorps program, dedicated towards mitigating health disparities in underserved communities via the promotion of health access and health education.
A New York City native by way of Queens and Harlem, Irving considers Pittsburgh his second home. Irving is interested in creative writing, mental health advocacy, mindfulness, and finding a variety of ways to share a laugh with loved ones.
Office Administrator & Executive Scheduler
Pittsburghs Office Administrator and Executive Scheduler, Kate supports the
weekly functions of the hybrid office
including inventory, staff
onboarding and administrative hiring/exiting, payroll/banking/bookkeeping, administrative
management, membership general Inquiry & response management, Board of
Directors support and meeting planning, vendor management and oversight, executive scheduling & calendar management for CEO and other program
or administrative duties as needed.
Kate is a creative, motivated and self-directed professional with over
twenty years of experience in both nonprofit and for-profit industries. She is
a native Pittsburgher, has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Point Park
University and enjoys writing, singing and bicycling in her spare time.
Talent Engagement & Community Relations Executive Ally

Ally, malachiah is responsible for engagement, outreach, and relationship
management with member organizations and diverse talent and communities of the

Stanley Richard Ciesielski
Program and Events Coordinator
Stanley Ciesielski serves as the Program and Events Coordinator at Vibrant Pittsburgh. He is a senior at Duquesne University,
majoring in accounting and minoring in legal studies. His interest in business law
began during an internship with the Rotary Club of Pittsburgh that allowed him to
connect with regional law practitioners. During his work there, Stan served as
the Administrative Assistant, handling all bookkeeping and event planning
After graduation, he plans to attend law school and pursue a practice
in international labor law.
Social Media Intern
Alyssa graduated from the Women's College at Brenau University in 2020 and spent the year teaching 8th grade Language Arts outside of Atlanta, Georgia. In July, she left her hometown near Atlanta and made the trek to beautiful Pittsburgh to pursue her Master's Degree in Entertainment Industry Management at Carnegie Mellon University. Marketing and social media are a passion for her, as she strives to find the best way to amplify other's voices and stories through accessible platforms.
After graduating, Alyssa hopes to work as a manager in the entertainment industry, focusing on bringing previously untold stories and unheard voices to streams and screens. In her spare time, she enjoys discovering new musical artists and catching up on the latest trending Netflix shows.
